A production machine for digital finishing based on inkjet printing technology has been unveiled by Royal Ten Cate of Almelo, The Netherlands. On Monday I July 201 3,Theo Rietkerk, a member of the Provincial Executive for Economy, Energy and Innovation in Overijssel, The Netherlands, activated the machine, the first in a planned series, at TenCate Protective & Outdoor Fabrics' facility in Nijverdal, The Netherlands.The company claims the machine is the first of its kind and considers its operation to mark the transition from analogue to digital finishing of technical textiles.
