A European project that aims to create a complete production workflow for sportswear - including design, pattern editing, three-dimensional (3D) modelling, proofing, dye sublimation printing and construction of the final garment - produced a live end-to-end demonstration at the Fespa Digital exhibition, held in Munich, Germany, on 20-23 May 2014. Coordinated by The German Institute for Textile and Fibre Research (Deutschen Institute fur Textil- und Faserforschung-DITF) of Denkendorf, together with Ergosoft of Altnau, Switzerland, and Aschheim-Dornach, Germany-based assyst GmbH, the Simulate, Print and Go project was demonstrated on the stand of one of the partners, Epson Europe BV of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
