Huesker invests US$8.5 million in US geotextile production plant

On 13 December 2016, Huesker Inc officially opened its new geotextile production plant in Shelby, North Carolina, USA. Huesker of Gescher, Germany, has invested US$8.5 million to build the new state-of-the-art plant, which extends across 1.4 ha (150 000 square feet). The new facility replaces the company's previous plant in Shelby and trebles the space it has available there.
