Obituary: Neville Billington

The first full time chief executive of I5.SRIA, Neville Billington, has died al the age of 93. A director of BSRIA (then known as the H&V Research Association) from 1958 to 1975, he had previously been head of the National College for Heating, Ventilating, Refrigeration and Fan Engineering in South London.rnHe inspired many researchers including current chief executive, Andrew Eastwell. " BSRIA owes a huge debt to Neville for his work at the helm of the Association for seventeen years" said Eastwell. "He will he missed by many people but he has left a marvellous legacy for all of us."
