The 2016 American Library Association Annual Conference was held June 23-28,2016, in Orlando, FL. ALA Annual is the largest annual conference for librarians, hosted by the largest professional organization for librarians. There were hundreds of sessions on dozens of topics, including business meetings, exhibitor sessions, interest groups, poster sessions, and programs. Additional information about many sessions is accessible on the conference's website.1 These reports are from five presentations about digital collections and descriptive metadata.
