H. pylori remains an important cause of ulcer disease, mucosa-associatednlymphoid tissue lymphoma, and gastric adenocarcinoma. The effectivenessnof the recommended first-line triple therapies (1) of PPI, clarithromycin,nand amoxicillin or metronidazole may be declining; thus, newnregimens are needed.
