Noise nuisance near your home? App's the way to report it

Residents in the London borough of Croydon can now report noise nuisance to their local authority via an app. Croydon Council has upgraded its app, My Croydon, to include a decibel meter which measures noise and tells the user whether it is loud enough to be classed as a nuisance. If it is, the app will request more information, such as what category the noise falls under, for example anti-social behaviour, barking dogs or car alarms, as well as approximate location.
