Maintaining our standing

I wrote last month's president's page while waiting at Heathrow airport to board a flight to Washington where I had a series of meetings with the chairman of the US Securities and Exchange Commission, senior officials in the new Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, the World Bank and Congress.The schedule was just as hectic as I expected, but the insight, contacts and feedback that we got from the meetings were invaluable.
