Global networks under fire

There are high risks associated with international accountancy networks and two recent cases highlight these risks perfectly. The first saw BP successfully sue the London affiliate of its insurance brokers, the Aon Group, despite there being no contract between them. More recently PricewaterhouseCoopers was hit by fraud charges and an audit suspension of its Japanese affiliate, Chuo Aoyama PwC.
