FOREST FIRE MONITORING SYSTEM BASED ON A GLOBAL INFORMATION SYSTEM USING A RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION/UBIQUITOUS SENSOR NETWORK FIRE SENSOR
A forest fire monitoring system based on a geographical information system using an RFID/USN flame sensor is provided to determine a situation of the forest fire by displaying forest fire data and forest fire progress expectation data in three dimensional graphic on a numerical map. Forest fire monitoring cameras(120a,120b) are installed in a high pylon to monitor forest fire expected regions. Sensor nodes(140a-140g) are respectively located in the forest fire expected region. The sensor nodes determine the forest fire by sensing the ultraviolet ray of the special wavelength band. The sensor nodes deliver forest fire data to a sink node(160) by using a local distance wireless communication method. The sink node transmits the forest fire received from the sensor nodes to a server(180) by using a long distance wireless communication method. The server generates the forest fire progress expectation data based on the forest fire data received from the sink node.
