Practising certificates made much simpler

In a welcome move following consultations with members, the institute has revised its practising certificate arrangements with effect from 1 January 2008. Members had said that current arrangements were unclear and posed barriers to some wishing to return to practice, particularly after a career break. Members welcomed proposals for change.
