A mobile communication terminal using a near field communication (NFC) function conducting simple certification and a certification method thereof are disclosed. The mobile communication terminal according to the present invention is a mobile communication terminal having an NFC function. The mobile communication terminal comprises a card contact part for NFC contact with an IC chip card storing certification information; an authentication information determination part that determines whether the authentication information recorded in the IC chip card matches authentication information registered in the server of a mobile communication company; and an authentication part for authenticating the user of the IC chip card by himself when the authentication information determination part determines that the authentication information registered in the IC chip card matches the authentication information registered in the mobile communication company server.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
