Accountants in pole position to harness businesses' international growth plans

While many business owners and managers remain wary about approaching banks for funding for growth, it comes as no surprise to hear the Asset Based Finance Association (ABFA) announce that invoice finance has enjoyed 12% year-on-year growth as a funding stream for UK businesses. And, despite the widening of the trade deficit, the findings from ABFA appear to reflect the fact that the international trade market is favourable towards UK firms looking to do business overseas. Furthermore, a 48% surge in popularity in export invoice finance among UK businesses adds weight to those who believe that a boost in exports will drive the economic recovery.
