The latest advisory fuel rates for company cars came into effect on 1 September 2011. Employers have to use the revised rates from 1 October 2011. HMRC will continue to alter its rates quarterly on 1 March, June, September and December. The onus is on employers to check for revisions at www.hmrc.gov. uk/cars/advisory _fuel_current.htm
