Following the publication of its 'small business tax review', the next task for the Office of Tax Simplification will be to carry out a detailed review of tax administration for small businesses. When compiling the previous review earlier in the year, tax administration was found to be a key source of uncertainty and complexity for small businesses. The OTS report highlighted that small businesses struggle under the administrative burdens imposed by the UK tax system.
