ICAEW president Gerald Russell took time out from his busy schedule to attend the Chartered Accountants' Benevolent Association's 125th birthday celebrations at the charity's head office in Rugby on 24 March. Highlights of the day were sample workshops, the launch of a book covering CABA's history and, of course, a cake-cutting ceremony. As part of CABA's celebrations, it has adopted 12 May as Take a Break day and is asking all accountants to take time off in the working day to spend time thinking about their work-life balance. It is also offering free stress management course tasters on a first come, first served basis.
