Reform of the welfare state has been very much in the news lately. The government has made several key changes which are now starting to come into effect and, at CABA, we are starting to see how they are affecting accountants and their dependents. It is worth underlining that these are normally members of the profession who find themselves in a vulnerable position through illness, disability, unemployment, old age or a range of other issues. Helping them forms a large part of the work at CABA.
