PUB CHAIN FULLER CALLS TIME ON EY WITH GRANT THORNTON HIRE

Pub and hotel chain Fuller, Smith & Turner, which produces London Pride bitter from its brewery in Chiswick and is market capitalised at £301.8m, has appointed Grant Thornton to replace Ernst & Young (EY) as the company's auditors, following a competitive tender. The length of EY's audit tenure was not available as we went to press but the company first listed on the London Stock Exchange in August 1996. An investor relations spokesperson said: 'Fuller's have been with Ernst & Young for as long as anyone can remember'.
