HMRC has updated its Employment Status Manual (ESM) with, among other points, additional guidance on overarching contracts of employment (ESM2035 et seq) and a revised IR35 section, beginning at ESM3000. The latter includes references to the Business Entity tests that may be used 'to help customers self-assess the overall risk that the IR35 provisions will apply to their business'.
