IS THE FAIR TAX MARK CREDIBLE OR TRANSPARENT?

If you think of fair trade, you are more than likely to think of coffee, and believe that the coffee grower has been rewarded fairly for their produce. Despite this, only 25% of the coffee in the UK is Fairtrade-certified against one in three bananas sold in the UK. So it is with some irony that coffee shops just might be one of the retailers who choose to apply for the Fair Tax Mark, should it become a recognised standard.
