INSOLVENCY SERVICE INCREASES FEES BY UP TO 7%

As of 6 April 2014, fees and deposits paid in creditor and company winding up petitions in England and Wales will increase to take into account inflation. The deposit for a bankruptcy creditor petition will cost £750 while a company compulsory winding-up deposit will be £1,250. Fees for bankruptcy debtor petitions and creditor petitions increase by 7.9% to £1850, while a compulsory winding-up order rises to £2,400.
