CONNECTED CARS

So what is a connected car? Central to a connected car is connectivity; whether for streaming music, navigation, vehicle diagnostics, intelligent safety or social media in the car, a communications device is fundamental. This means that increasingly automotive manufacturers are working closely with IT providers, telcos, media and ecommerce companies to develop new applications. So-called 'infotainment' and intelligent safety applications are the most dynamic segments with vehicle diagnostics and predictive/data analytics following closely.
