Giving his speech at the ICAEW President's Lunch, incoming president Andrew Ratcliffe suggested that members must surely be 'still coming to terms' with the departure of Zayn Malik from One Direction. Straight-faced, Ratcliffe said he was seriously pondering whether to buy their calendar again next year. But Ratcliffe's real point was his observation that Rolling Stone reported some serious and rather more sober advice for Zayn from Noel Gallagher: 'Get a good accountant,' Ratcliffe said, in a rather censored version of the four-letter loaded Oasis frontman's advice.
