CHARITIES FALL WITHIN FRC'S 2015/16 AUDIT INSPECTIONS

The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has announced that charities and AIM-listed companies will fall into the scope of its next Audit Quality Review (AQR) inspection in 2015/16. The charities it will inspect are those with income exceeding £100m while AIM-listed entities with over E100m market cap, UK unquoted companies, groups of companies, limited liability partnerships or cooperative and community benefit societies with group turnover in excess of £500m will be among the companies within its remit for the next inspections.
