CHANTREY VELLACOTT DFK MERGES INTO MOORE STEPHENS TO CREATE £156M FIRM

Mid-tier accountants Chantrey Vellacott DFK is merging with Moore Stephens, bringing the combined turnover of the firms to £156m, with over 1,700 partners and staff. The move will cement Moore Stephens' position in the top 10 UK firms - the firm currently has annual fee income of £136.9m, over 1,300 partners and staff in 34 locations, and is ranked in ninth place in the 2015 Accountancy Top 75 Firms Survey, having grown fee income by 4% on the previous year.
