The overexpression and significance of cyclin D1 and P53 in cervical squamous cell carcinomas

Conclusion The action point of both cyclin D1 and P53 may be at G1/S transition. The overexpression of them was associated with development and progression of cervical carcinoma probably in different mechanisms and different pathways. Objective To investigate the significance of overexpression of cyclin D1 and P53 protein in cervical Squamous cell carcinomas. Methods Fifty cases of invasive cervical squamous cell carciomas and 10 cases of normal Cervical squamous epithelia were investigated with immunihistochemical technique.
