Distribution of Environmental and Social Impacts and Benefits in the Clean Energy Transition

The clean energy transition requires a shift from fossil fuels to non-fuel minerals. The environmental and social impacts of the alternative systems are geographical ly differentiated, which has implications for a shift in the equitable distribution of impacts and benefits across levels of society. This paper will present resuIts of analysis of the shift in this distribution as the trans it ion continues, across the supply chain of energy systems.
