The History of Petroleum Geology Committee is pleased to sponsor this session on history of petroleum geology with emphasis on the Rocky Mountains. This session will begin with a synopsis of the petroleum exploration history of northeastern British Columbia. We will then move south and explore the history of geologic investigations and oil operations at Teapot Dome, Wyoming.
