PurposeThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the biocompatibility, local tissue effects and performance of a synthetic long-term resorbable test mesh (TIGR^® Matrix Surgical Mesh) compared to a non-resorbable polypropylene control mesh following implantation in a sheep model.
