BackgroundPlazomicin (PLZ) is a next-generation aminoglycoside currently approved by the US FDA for the treatment of complicated urinary tract infections, including pyelonephritis. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the in vitro activity of PLZ against a large collection of Gram-negative bacilli obtained from patients attending Canadian hospitals.
