Preoperative examinations. Echocardiography showed infectious endocarditis (IE) in the aortic valve (a, arrowhead). Computed tomography revealed a false aneurysm in the dorsum of the artificial vessel (b, c, arrowheads) and the rise of fat tissue in the mediastinum, indicating mediastinitis (c, arrows)
