Type 1 IGF receptor associates with adverse outcome and cellular radioresistance in paediatric high-grade glioma

Paediatric patients whose tumours scored 2–3 (moderate/strong) for IGF-1R had significantly shorter survival than those whose tumours scored 0–1 for IGF-1R (13.5 months vs 29 months, p = 0.011 by Log-Rank [Mantel-Cox] test).
