Novel insights in dimethyl carbonate-based extraction of polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB)

Schematic representation of experimental set-up of the present study. E. coli biomass is treated with DMC to extract the PHB: the extraction protocol varies on the base of the selected experimental variables (biomass, filter, mixing time).
