A new genus and four newspecies of freshwater crab, n. gen., n. sp., n. gen., n. sp., n.gen., n. sp. and n. gen., n. sp. are described fromGuangdong, China, based on morphology and two mitochondrial markers (16S rDNA andcytochrome oxidase subunit I). Species of closely resemblespecies of Dai & Türkay, 1997, but differ by thecombination of carapace, third maxilliped, male pleon, male first gonopod and female vulvacharacters. Molecular data derived from the mitochondrial 16S rDNA also supports theestablishment of the new genus.
