Patient organ and effective dose estimation in CT: comparison of four software applications

Examples of scan region on the different phantoms implemented in CT-Expo, NCICT, NCICTX, and Virtual Dose. The region to be set, in this case for a chest study, was defined by selecting images archived in our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
