The method involves determining an effective area in effective points and a dosing value describing an effective radiation dose from a part of an acquisition parameter with radiation image acquisition of examination and/or treatment to a radiation image. The local dose value is increased around the dose value at each effective point included by the effective area. Dose exceeding information i.e. warning information, is outputted during exceeding a threshold value for the local dose value to the effective point that is detected from the effective area of the radiation image acquisition.
