Simultaneous intrathyroidal parathyroid adenomas and multifocal papillary thyroid carcinoma in a patient with kidney transplantation: a case report

Ultrasonography image of hypoechoic nodules with well-defined margins located in the right inferior lobe of the thyroid gland ( ). A typically cystic parathyroid adenoma with homogeneously hypoechoic and an elongated shape was located in posterior left superior thyroid ( ). Ultrasonography showed a hypoechoic nodule with irregular margins with a taller-than-wide shape located in the left superior thyroid, which was confirmed as papillary carcinoma by FNAB ( )
