Chemistry,as part of the STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines, isone of many areas where women’s potential is often still being“STEMmed”. In other words, women receive fewer opportunitiesboth as students and in leadership positions, and hence the entirecommunity loses out on this vast pool of talent.
