Background/purposeThe nonvitamin K antagonist oral anticoagulants direct-thrombin inhibitor dabigatran and the Xa inhibitors rivaroxaban and apixaban are now being used clinically. The course of the patients on these anticoagulants who underwent tooth extraction was assessed.
