Giant mass but small symptoms; huge thrombosis in the right atrium originating from the superior vena cava and protruding to the right ventricle: a case report

BackgroundThrombosis of the superior vena cava with propagation to the right heart chambers can be seen in the presence of chronic indwelling catheters. Moreover, the idiopathic right atrial thrombi may become entrapped in Chiari’s networks, and idiopathic thrombosis of the superior vena cava may occur rarely because of the underlying coagulation disorders or malignancies.
