摘要

A package of IBM PC programs has been developed which enables an individual to manage (accumulate, learn, and remember) his or her own personal knowledge base over time. It could be characterized as an “authoring” system for the production of computer-assisted instruction materials when the author is the primary (or only) intended audience. The package is designed to require minimal computer (and knowledge engineering) literacy, handle a significant knowledge base with a “small” computer configuration, and provide sufficient capacity for virtually any personal knowledge base.
