PurposeMicroRNAs (miRNAs) have been widely investigated as potential biomarkers for several malignancies. To establish the feasibility of miRNA expression profiling of small biopsy samples of pancreatic cancers, we assessed expression profiles in freshly collected aspirates obtained immediately after surgical resection of the pancreas.
