BackgroundChronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is prevalent in China. The role of body mass index (BMI) in COPD progression and prognosis is unclear. We analyzed the association between BMI and pulmonary function, inflammation levels and exacerbation in Chinese COPD patients.
