Trend in prosthetic rehabilitation of partially edentulous patients in a Nigerian teaching hospital

BackgroundTooth loss is a common dental problem usually managed with fixed or removable dentures. Recently, because of better aesthetic and functional comfort, missing teeth are replaced more often with implant supported dentures. The purpose of this study was to assess the trend in prosthetic rehabilitation of partially edentulous patients in a Nigerian teaching Hospital and to assess factor that influence the choice of treatment.
