PurposeDevelopment of adjacent segment degeneration following anterior cervical decompression and fusion (ACDF) is still controversial, as adjacent-level kinematics is poorly understood. This study reports preliminary data from a high-accuracy 3D analysis technique developed for in vivo cervical kinematics.
