摘要

In recent years,comparative research between the Greco-Roman world and ancient China has gained considerable popularity.More and more scholars begin to focus on this comparative research.On the one hand,this trend can be interpreted as a sign of classical studies maturing as a research discipline in China;on the other hand,both in terms of quantity and quality,it also shows that the comparative studies between the Greco-Roman world and China has lagged behind compared to classical studies and sinology.
