Vocabulary is one of three elements of language, so it is essential for language teaching. As we all know, vocabulary teaching is an important part in English teaching,because it will directly affect students English integrated applied abilities.This paper consists of the importance,problems in vocabulary teaching and teaching strategies.%词汇是语言的三要素之一，语言教学离不开词汇教学。词汇教学是一项重要的教学环节，这将直接影响学生对英语的综合运用能力。本文从词汇教学的重要性，词汇教学存在的问题以及教师应采用的策略来阐述。
