H.264中基于帧内编码的适应性帧内预测算法

摘要

In H.264/AVC, each of the MB modes has several directional prediction modes, which could improve the coding efficiency. Meanwhile, it will also increase the coding complexity. Focus to this problem, the article gives a new method of adaptive intra prediction (AIP). By analyzing the RDO of different prediction modes, we try to use most probable mode (MPM) to replace the multiple prediction modes, which would decrease the complexity and improve the efficiency. The later experimental result shows that this method could achieve the purpose.%H.264/AVC中宏块模式含有多个方向性预测模式,虽然可以借此提高帧内编码效率,但是也相应地增加了编码复杂度.针对这个问题,提出一种新的基于帧内编码的适应性算法(AIP),试图通过对不同方向预测模式的失真率分析,使用最可能模式(MPM)来取代原有的多个预测模式,从而降低编码复杂度并提高编码效率.通过实验验证,新算法可以较好地实现这一目的.
