Mass communication is an important part of modern metro informational system. Since 3G license has been distributed to all communication suppliers in China, metro under construction or reconstruction will need 3G signal to cover the underground tube. In this paper,3G communication technology is introduced and the related problems of 3G covering technology in metro are also discussed.%民用通信是地铁现代化、信息化的一个组成部分.随着国家对3G牌照的全面发放,已建和在建的地铁都对地铁内3G信号的覆盖有了新的需求.对3G通信技术作了简要介绍,并对3G信号在地铁内覆盖的相关问题与方案作了讨论.
