The Primary Discussion on HIV Surveillant Emphasis to Chinese International Traveler

The AIDS surveillant data of Chinese international traveler in 1990-1994 were analyzed by using descriptive epidemiological method. The result showed that international travel was still one of the important factors of Chinese people who were infected by HIV. Through statistical analysis,HIV infection rate of returned traveler was significantly higher than that of person travel abroad(X^2=338.71;P0.005),and the infection rate of the latter was very low. Among returned travelers,those who travel at one’s own expense had a significant high infection rate than other populations,while the infection rate of returned laborer was significantly higher than sailor’s (X^2=15.5971;P0.005). The HIV infection rates became more and more higher in accordance with the sailor,returned government functionary,returned laborer,returned traveler at one’s own expense. According to the verification tendencey of HIV infection rate in recent years,the surveillant emphasis should be returned traveler at one’s own expense,returned laborer and returned govermment functionary.
